Applied around the base of the plant, PlantGrow Slug and Snail Barrier will effectively deter hungry molluscs from accessing the plants to feed. Unlike chemical-based slug pellets, our slug and snail barrier poses no threat to any of the beneficial slug and snail species that live within a garden, such as those that are involved in the composting and re-cycling of decaying plant matter. Also, unlike many other barrier products, PlantGrow Slug and Snail Barrier will naturally biodegrade over time to provide a natural source of nutrients that will help to improve and strengthen plant growth in a purely natural way. Use throughout the growing season within the garden borders, pots and containers. Simply apply directly from the box to create a layer on the soil or compost surface that encircles the stems of the plants you want to protect. The encirclement should be approximately 10 – 12cm in width and at least 1cm in depth. We recommend that you don’t apply our slug and snail barrier onto very wet soil or during periods of heavy rainfall.

Top up and re-apply as and when required. After use, PlantGrow Slug and Snail Barrier can be left to naturally biodegrade into the soil or can be raked and hoed into the surface layer to provide nutrients that promote healthy plant growth and strong root development.

Not suitable for use on freshly sown seeds and small seedlings.
