About These Terms

These terms and conditions of sale (together with our, Website Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy) tell you information about us and the legal terms and conditions that will apply whenever you buy any products from us (whether via our website, over the telephone with our customer services team or in person at a show).

Please read these terms and conditions before ordering any products from the PlantGrow site, over the telephone with our customer services team or in person from us at a show or event.

By placing an order with us, you are agreeing to be bound by and comply with these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these terms and conditions, you will not be able to order any products from us.

About You

By placing an order with us (whether via our website, over the telephone or in person), you are confirming that:

  1. you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts; and
  2. you are at least 18 years old.

Order Process

We accept orders for our products via our website, over the telephone and at certain in person events or shows we attend.

Where you order via our website or over the phone, we will send you an email confirmation to the email address you have provided to us that confirms that we have accepted your order (the “Order Confirmation”). Please note this does not mean we have accepted your order, only that we have received it.

All orders are subject to our acceptance, which will occur when either:

  1. For Online or Telephone Orders – when we send you an email that confirms that the product has been dispatched; or
  2. For In Person Orders – when we confirm to you that we are accepting your order.


The contract between you and us will only be formed when we accept your order in one of the above ways.

If we are unable to supply you with a product you have ordered (for example, if the product is out of stock, because of an error in the price we have quoted or because we can’t authorise your payment), we will inform you of this by email or telephone and cancel your order. If you have already paid for the products, we will refund you the full amount as soon as possible.

Our Products

Please ensure that you have checked your order carefully before placing it with us. Once you have placed an order with us, we are unable to amend it (except as stated elsewhere in these terms).

You are solely responsible for ensuring that the product you order is suitable for your particular needs, but if you are unsure about what product you might need do Contact Us with any questions.

The images of products shown on the PlantGrow site are for illustrative purposes only and the products you receive may not precisely match those images.

We may change or suspend the sale of any of our products to reflect changes in any applicable laws or regulations from time to time.

Price and Payment

The prices of the products will be as quoted on the PlantGrow website, over the telephone or by us in person (for show or event orders) at the time you place your order.

These prices include (where applicable) VAT at the prevailing rate, but any delivery costs will be on top of the prices quoted (as per our Delivery Policy).

We will normally check prices as part of our dispatch procedures and where we identify that the price quoted to you was incorrect:

  1. if the correct price is less than we have quoted, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the product to you;
  2. if the correct price is higher than the price stated on our site, we will contact you to inform you of the error and give you the option of either continuing your purchase of the product at the correct price or cancelling your order.


We are under no obligation to provide any product to you at an incorrect (lower) price if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable.

Payment for all products must be by credit card, debit card or using PayPal. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Maestro. Our online payment system complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard to ensure that your payment information is secure.

Payment for any products being purchased in person (such as at a garden show) may be made in cash where we state at the time that we will accept cash.

We require payment for products and any delivery charges in advance of delivery. We will take payment from your provided payment method when you submit your order.


We aim to deliver all orders within 2 – 5 working days of sending your Order Confirmation, unless we stated otherwise in that Order Confirmation. However we cannot always guarantee that we will be able to deliver within this timeframe. If your order is delayed by an event outside our control then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know. We are not responsible for delays outside our control.

If we do not deliver your product within these 30 calendar days or within the other time agreed between us, you may cancel your order by contacting us using our Contact Details.

If you provide to us any instructions relating to the delivery of your order (including instructions to leave the products in a particular place, outhouse or with a neighbour), you are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of these instructions and we will not be liable to you in relation to any loss of or damage to the product resulting from us or our couriers following your instructions.

Delivery will be complete when we deliver the product to the address you gave us or in accordance with your other instructions. You will own the product once delivery is complete.

Changing Your Mind

Where you place an order with us online or via the telephone, you are entitled to change your mind and cancel within 14 days of receiving your product(s).

This right to change your mind and cancel will not apply where:

  1. the product is sealed for health protection or hygiene purposes and you have unsealed it after delivery;
  2. you have used the products after delivery; or
  3. the product has been mixed inseparably from other items after delivery.


If you change your mind and want to cancel an order, you must contact us by email (info@plantgrow.co.uk) or call us (on 01953 525 001) within 14 days of delivery notifying us that you want to cancel. Please include details of your order to help us identify it.

We will then send you an email to confirm we have received your notification of cancellation and advising how to return the product(s) you want to cancel. If the product has already been dispatched, you will then need to return the product to by post to.

If you only cancel the Contract in respect of some but not all the products in an order, you will not be entitled to a refund of the delivery charge as our delivery charges are charged at a flat rate per order and not by weight.

Problems with your Order

If you have a problem with any product you have ordered from us or you think that a product you have received is defective or was mis-described, please contact our Customer Service Team by using our Contact Details.

All returns for potentially defective products will be examined once they have been received by us and we will notify you if you are entitled to a refund or a replacement via email within a reasonable period.

If you return a product to us which is found to have been defective, we will issue you with a full refund (if you notified us of the issue within 30 days of receiving the product) or we will send you a replacement product (if you notified us after 30 days but within 6 months of receiving the product).


Any products you wish to return must be sent by post to us at: PlantGrow, The Poultry Farm, Hingham Road, Great Ellingham, Norfolk, NR17 1JG. Please make sure you get proof of postage for any returns and keep a copy in case we need it.

For all returns, we will examine the product(s) once we have received them and will then notify you if you are entitled to a refund via email within 14 days of receipt.

If you are returning a product because you have changed your mind and decided to cancel your order (within 14 days of delivery):

  1. You must return the product to us within 14 days of receiving it;
  2. You will be responsible for paying the costs of returning the product to us; and
  3. You must return the product to us in its original condition and unopened/unsealed.


If you are returning a product because you believe it is defective or was mis-described:

  1. You must return the product to us within 14 days of becoming aware that it is defective or was mis-described; and
  2. If, after we examine it, we conclude that the product was faulty or mis-described, we will be refund the costs of you returning the product to us.
  3. Products must be returned in their original condition. We may reduce any refund due to you to reflect any reduction in the value of the product due to how you have handled it.

We can only refund any money due to you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.

We will usually process any refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 calendar days of the day we notified you via email that you were entitled to a refund for any correctly returned and/or defective products.

If it is the case that we notified you that you are entitled to a refund, you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the product, the original delivery charges and (if the product was defective and you notified us within 30 days of receiving it) the costs of returning the product to us.

If you have purchased products as part of an offer or discount, the amount refunded will be adjusted accordingly to reflect any failure to meet the original requirements for the offer or discount because of returning the product.

Our Rights To Cancel

We reserve the right to cancel any order you place with us if:

  1. You fail to pay for your order when requested to do so (or if we are unable to authorise a payment via your chosen payment method);
  2. You fail to provide us with any information we require to process your order when requested (e.g. delivery address or requirements); or
  3. You otherwise breach these terms and conditions and fail to fix this within a reasonable time of being asked to do so; or


We are unable to deliver your order for reasons beyond our control (such as stock shortages).

Our Liability To You

We’re responsible for losses you suffer caused by us breaking this contract unless the loss is:

  1. Unexpected – It was not obvious that it would happen and nothing you said to us before we accepted your order meant we should have expected it (so, in the law, the loss was unforeseeable).
  2. Caused by a delaying event outside our control – Where we are unable to deliver your product or do so within a reasonable time due to something outside of our control, provided that we have notified you of the delay and (where the delay is substantial) having given you the option to cancel your order.
  3. Avoidable – Something you could have avoided by taking reasonable action, including following our reasonable instructions for use.
  4. A business loss – It relates to your use of a product for the purposes of your trade, business, craft or profession.

Personal Information

Where you have provided us with personal information, we will use this information to process your order and supply products to you. We will only use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Other Important Terms

We may amend these terms and conditions from time to time to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements, market conditions, technology, payment methods or our system’s capabilities. The date at the bottom of this page will be amended each time these terms are updated.

Each time you order products from us, the terms in force at the time of your order will apply to the Contract between us.

We can transfer our contract with you, so that a different organisation is responsible for supplying your product. We’ll tell you in writing if this happens and we’ll ensure that the transfer won’t affect your rights under the contract.

You can only transfer your contract with us to someone else if we agree to this.

This contract is between you and us. Nobody else can enforce it and neither of us will need to ask anybody else to sign-off on ending or changing it.

If a court invalidates some of this contract, the rest of it will still apply. If a court or other authority decides that some of these terms are unlawful, the rest will continue to apply.

Even if we delay in enforcing this contract, we can still enforce it later. We might not immediately chase you for not doing something (like paying) or for doing something you’re not allowed to, but that doesn’t mean we can’t do it later.

Parcel deliveries

We aim to deliver all parcels within 2-4 working days from dispatch, order before 12:00pm for same day dispatch.

Pallet deliveries

We aim to deliver all pallets within 2-5 working days from dispatch, order before 12:00pm for same day dispatch.
