PlantGrow, producer of plant-based natural fertiliser has been announced as the winner of the Breaking Boundaries award, sponsored by Lovewell Blake, at the Norfolk Business Awards 2020. The judges found that PlantGrow ticked all the boxes for the criteria of the Breaking Boundaries award.
“This year we were looking for businesses which are not just limited to simply operating within existing boundaries, but who were reaching out to customers far beyond their own established areas. Businesses who innovate transform a great idea into a profitable business and strive to put our region on the map both nationally and globally, we were also looking for a winner who showed resilience and developed opportunities through the challenges we have also had to endure this year.” James Shipp, partner at Lovewell Blake.
Continuing to drive their organic products forwards and protecting their unique process for producing a natural fertiliser is strongly putting this Norfolk based business on the map, this farming family’s hard work and dedication really is paying off.
The judges selected a business that is really making a difference, standing strong against market leaders. What better way to demonstrate these strengths but to settle a contracted partnership with a major UK retailer. The product challenges the competition with a unique process with almost endless production capabilities, being the patent holder for such a unique process really stops anything getting in their way.
In the last two years, PlantGrow has made a huge amount of progress protecting their methods, securing that exclusive contract, and developing a wider application and product range. This year the judges decided to reward PlantGrow for their determination as winners of the Breaking Boundaries category.
“Words cannot describe our emotions, for our brand to even sit amongst so many talented and courageous businesses is such a wonderful thing. We are so proud to take home the breaking boundaries award, a reminder that all of our investment is making a difference” Ashley Day, Sales and marketing director at PlantGrow
