Heaps of sunshine, perfect temperatures and longer days; Is there anything more wonderful than British springtime?
Irises

As spring dawns so does the busiest season of gardening. A little effort can bring such joy as you see your garden wake up after a long, cold winter!

Spring introduces an array of flowers to thrive in your backyard, especially bulbs; some of the easiest and most rewarding plants to grow. Today PlantGrow reveals the must have additions to your garden this spring:

Crocus

A beautiful flower, that once established in the right conditions can thrive year after year. Suitable for any environment, plant these at the front of borders, in containers or naturalised in drifts or lawns for maximum effect.

Planting these won’t only light up your garden but will also help the bee population; allowing early and much needed food. Have a look outside on a sunny day and you’ll be able to see them eagerly gathering the rich-golden pollen.
Daffodils

A true classic, daffodils are an essential for any British Garden. Perfect for planting between shrubs or borders, or for forcing blooms indoors.

A flower made for British weather; daffodils can withstand almost any condition. They are also ignored by rabbits, ensuring your flowers last for the whole summer, and continue to come back year after year!
Primrose

Primrose come in a variety of shapes and colours and thrive in the often rainy and damp British springtime conditions. Suitable for a range of garden layouts, they are best suited in garden beds or borders, but can also look great on a lawn!
Hyacinths

Another classic, these flowers are not only beautiful but have amazing health benefits. Offering help for sore throats and healthy digestion, these spring flowers are the perfect addition to your garden.

Hyacinths are ideal for borders and containers, place them next to your door to be welcomed by their beautiful signature aroma. These flowers do need well-drained, fertile soil to thrive, our trademark natural fertiliser could create this environment in a sustainable manner.

Before you know it, you will be outside in a seed-planting, growing and nurturing frenzy! Be sure to consider our natural fertiliser for a completely organic and sustainable way of ensuring your garden thrives, not only this spring but for the foreseeable future.
