We could not be more grateful and proud to have been one of the headline sponsors of the Sandringham Flower Show this year! We had a wonderful day presenting along with the EDP and it was great to see so many familiar gardening faces, including some of our PlantGrow Champions!
It was a delight having the opportunity to answer questions on our sustainability and share the PlantGrow story, explaining how and why we do what we do. Several PlantGrow bulk bags were dotted around the show and we were ecstatic to find people engaging with our compost and mulch, even bagging some of it up to take home!
What became even more fulfilling, was hosting a royal visit from Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall – hearing their delightful feedback about PlantGrow was the greatest thing to hear, we could not be more proud! ‘Prince Charles and Camilla, both showing their appreciation for what we do to support the environment is why we want to share our outlook on sustainability and continue to do better for the planet, influencing and inspiring others to do the same’ – Kara Barron.
Following on from that, they seemed equally as pleased to find that our donation of blends were supporting the rose beds within the estate – ‘To have actually have had a chat with Prince Charles himself has given us the boost we needed, it feels good knowing we are doing things the right way!’ – Ashley Day.
To say the least, it was a wonderful day spending time in the gardens, visiting the wildlife and speaking with other reputable gardeners. We were beyond thrilled to have sponsored and supported the beautiful Sandringham estate, and ultimately the environment too – we hope we have inspired people to be more eco-friendly in the gardening community. And we would highly recommend coming along to the Sandringham Flower Show in the future if you have not already as it is a lovely show with plenty to offer!
It was a pleasure hosting with the EDP at the show. Here is the link to their blog on Prince Charles and Camilla’s royal walk at the Sandringham Flower Show this year.
